So not sure what version of SP you are using, but the latest SP-4.1.0 may resolve a lot of these complaints. CCA for SSA is now accessible with 3parcust... not sure about the proxy settings though.

Its the 4.1GA version - and it says it needs cpmaint - but as I said, I resetup the SP and that asks the question again - but once setup you can't add/remove/change the proxy. Maybe 4.2 might fix it.

cpmaint password depends on sp version...
So what is excatly your sp version ? 4.1 ? 4.1 GA 78/97 ? Lower ?

Ususally customers does not have cpmaint password, only 3parcust.

I get errors when re-running SP Setup Wizard. Here is few different scenarios I have tried.

1. Go to the SpSetupWizard.html
2. Enter the 7 digits StoreServ serial (Tried for both our 7400 & T400)
3. TEST 1 - Without checking Replacing a previous Service Processor (SP) and click Generate SP ID

3. TEST 2 - checking Replacing a previous Service Processor (SP) and enter the current SP ID, StoreServ ID and login
->> StoreServ Serial Number validation failed - INTERNAL ERROR (The 7 digits serial is correct)

As i know the only way how to change proxy is redeploy.

And to redeploy see

To change proxy you can also use cpmaint account or, if you don't have it, as said, redeploy. Redeploying is really fast.

Hi RitonLaBevue, do know the command to change the proxy with cpmaint account. we are using physical SP, do you have experience redeploy for physical SP?

Hello,

There is no need to redeploy SP to change proxy as long as you got the right account.
To redeploy physical SP you need the OS base, then the last major version and associated patches...

I don't know any command to change the proxy used by the SP. I use ssh and spmaint.
