Doubt about physical copy with snapshot sync

Hi everyone,

I have a doubt with the functionality of the physical copy with snapshot for resync, I was doing some test and I notice that I can not export this kind of volumes, first I need to promote the physical copy and then export the volume, but if I promote the volume I can not resync the physical copy anymore.
In what case can I use this feature?

Take a snap of the physical copy and export that. We used to do that, but we got away form physical copies, with 3par technology there are not many use cases that benefit from a physical copy vs. a regular Virtual Copy.
