Share Virtual volume on host set synchronize probelm
Share Virtual volume on host set synchronize probelm
Hello I monitored 3 PAR SAN, the develloper team ask me to create a virtual volume on san and share it to two hosts, then i create hosts set (2 hosts) and export virtual volume on these hosts. but when i create file on volume exported to one host, this modification is not visible to the second host, to force it i unmount volume exported on second host. they want to see the same information placed to virtual volume on the two host. this synchronization will confirm the developper that load balancing can be real. thanks to tell me if synchronization is possible and tell me whats need configuration 3 par or host

It sounds like the setup you described is ONLY valid for a cluster aware shared file system. With out that, your data is written to that shared disk is most like to be corrupted on a regular basis.
