Resyncing the PC using command

Post by kk2491 »

Hi All,

I have around 25 Physical copies which are used as alternative for the LUNs having no backup solution. This number is going to reach 60 in next 7 dyas. I need to resync those PCs everyday manually. Can we resync the Physical copies using commands?

I read in 3Par command line reference createvvcopy used to create Physical copy but how to resync?

Please help me in resolving this.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Kishor

Look at page 148 of the CLI admin guide
Google search: (pdf)
HP 3PAR Command Line Interface Reference 3.2.1

You need to create the physical copy with the -s which saves a snapshot for resync which you reference with -r when "resynchronizing" it.

The command is createvvcopy.

Hi trentwtaylor

As suggested by you, I have got the command createvvcopy -s -r which successfully resync the physical copy....

Thanks a lot....

Now I need to schedule this command So it runs everyday even if I'm not in office.

Thanks in advance,
