We have LUN's that are VMFS5 datastores and are doing virtual copy jobs daily. They are set to cycle out every 15 days but I have noticed recently that vcenter datastore migrations cause the reserved copy size % to balloon up fast!

What should I expect to happen as one now sits at 99%? What do others do to deal with these situations?

Shouldn't matter. The reserved size is the size of the backing LD space a as percentage of the requested virtual size e.g it can quite happily exceed 100% and not affect you VV. Why a migration is causing the growth I dunno, but assuming a low enough change rate then zero reclaim/thin persistence should be able to defrag and claw this back over time.
