Hi,

For 7200, i checked with HP deployment engineer and recommending for 3.2.1 MU5 as its 7K series but i suggested for 3.2.2 os but they were not sure for upgrade,

Even HP site and doc. not found recommendation for 3.2.2 OS to 7K storage.

But it was successfully installed on 10k series. :)

Did you show him the default version doc? https://h20272.www2.hpe.com/spock/utili ... _02_20.pdf

3.2.1 MU5 is still active, so technically ok, maybe they are still being a bit cautious?

Interestingly, we had a software upgrade yesterday. We are having some new shelves and disks installed into a 7200 and HPE recommended going to 3.2.2 MU4 from 3.2.1 MU2. We had to upgrade as the new disks weren't supported on 3.2.1MU2. We had some disks fail last week and the initial replacements HPE sent weren't supported on 3.2.1 MU2, but they sent supported disks out straight afterwards. I know there are some patches out for MU4, but they weren't bothered about those.

We did need to disable the VMware ATS on our 6.5 servers as part of the preparation (it's recommended to leave it off), but we were already using 6.5 servers. I'm surprised we hadn't hit the PDL issue caused by the array returning an incorrect response to rescans.

So far it's been smooth. I'll keep you updated if we see any issues.
