both controllers stuck in reboot cycle

I have an old 3par 8200 with a failed cage after a power outage/electrical problem.
I replaced the failed cage with a refurbished one. Now the cage and its disks seem to be ok, the problem is that both controllers are rebooting themself continuously. With a console cable I can see this text:

Turning off the enclosure because the node is on battery power. This will shut down the node until AC is restored.

Obviously AC power is available in both power supplies. Did I kill the nodes when I replaced the cage? What can I do now?
