We have VV set exported to Host set, and the VV set include about 10 VV and the host set include 10 hosts.
suddenly on of the VV in the VV set disappeared from the hosts.
in the 3PAR it seems that the VV is exported to the hosts.
VV suddenly disappeared from the servers
Re: VV suddenly disappeared from the servers
Sounds like someone played with your zoning.

Hi,
Yes you need to verify zoning on switch if any thing changed. You can also check the status of hosts in 3PAR IMC console for WWIDs if all host has proper WWIDs listed

Re: VV suddenly disappeared from the servers
Doesn't sound like zoning to me, zoning is done at a server level, not a vv level, and as the host set is apparently seeing 9 out of the 10 vvs still it can't possibly be zoning.
I'd un-export the vv and export it again.

Hi,
As Davidkn mentioned this is not the issue with Zoning, if zoning was the issue then all VVs would get affected.
Kindly check if that disappeared LUN is still inside the Volume set.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

KK
