3par7200 failed chunklet

Post by pazzoide76 »

Hi I have a question about a 3PAR 7200.
I have a 7200 3PAR with 56 disks with the capacity to 2tb.
Watching with the IMC I saw that there is about 1GB chunklet failed (see image).
What does it mean?
I have to worry?

thanks

greetings

The failed chunklet is nothing to worry about, but may indicate that a disk is on its way out.

It's also normal for cages to have ports offline, in case that was also a question.

As the previous poster said, nothing to worry about.. Based on your version of code(3.2.1 MU1) the drive will get marked as failed once it hits a 10 failed chunklet limit predetermined by the code... This used to be 6 chunklets in earlier versions.
