Quite new to 3par, in fact dont actually have one yet, only have access to HP's demo units remotely. Ours are on order.
Trying to get ahead of the game and figure out how to script a few things we do with our existing SAN now. Just need help with understanding the most effective/efficient way to deliver a solution. Snapshot vs Clone/Copy with synchronization. (as we speaking im poking around the forum here, havent found what Im looking for, so sorry if this is a duplicate post)
General Idea:
We will have a cluster of 4 nodes with like 10 virtual volumes attached to all 4 nodes.
We want one specific virtual volumes to be copied over to the other virtual volumes on a nightly basis.
(the virtual volumes are databases, and various groups to different things to test things without affecting the others or production database)
anyone have any thoughts/tips?
