at what usage of CPU %, when it will start impacting performance ??
cause im seeing cpu utilization of 50% on A650 with compress and dedupe,
should i be concerned ? can i put more workload ? or how do we calculate the margin of
how much more can the array take in terms of performance ?

Re: primera cpu usage
Check out the "saturation %" performance metric on Infosight for many of those answers.
CPU% is consumed differently on Primera than it was on 3PAR. You will see higher CPU utilization on Primera because there is intelligence dynamically prioritizing tasks to protect host response times, while getting background tasks done as efficiently as possible.

Re: primera cpu usage
how do i interpret the ""saturation %" currently its at 25%, while my CPU from SSMC is showing 40% to 50%
does that mean based on saturation, i can add 2x more workload, then the saturation will be 75% ?
as i understand, is it suppose to be some kind of "RPM" meter if compared to a CAR...
but how is this saturation % calculated based on what percentage..
EDIT:
FYI A650 , node CPU type for reference
------------------------------------------CPUs------------------------------------------
Node CPUs Cores Threads -Manufacturer- ----------------------Model----------------------
0 2 20 40 GenuineIntel 85 (Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4114T CPU @ 2.20GHz)
1 2 20 40 GenuineIntel 85 (Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4114T CPU @ 2.20GHz)
