Decomission 7200 Disks

We have decommissioned our 3par 7200. It had 24 600GB drives in it. Is there a way to convert those disks to use in a home lab for some of our techs? The standard server doesn't see the drive at all.

Youll need to reformat the disks from 520 bytes to 512 bytes, there are a few guides on how to do this online such as the below:

How can we format the disk if the OS doesn't even see the drive?
