So this is a new system if you're talking about using smart start?
Are you certain the cluster cables are right at the rear?
Have you installed one of these 7000 systems before?

Hi Davidkn
thanks for your reply.

yes I worked with this systems before.

Hello again Steve Carlose, you have the toughest questions for us, since almost everyone's installs are down partially or fully by HP. To recap the situation, you have a brand new 7400 with 4 nodes, no HP support or install assistance, so you need to do this install on your own?
Does anyone know if the license key is pre-installed or wether or not it needs to be in order to enable all the nodes?
We just installed a new 7400 4-node... smart start DVD was not used. Console connection to node and ran the OOB setup manually.
Do you use service processors in your shop?

Hello Richard
how are u these days my friend? I hope u are well.
Yes exactly I don't have any support and I have to fix this problem by my self.(I told u before about my boss
)
yes this is a new one 7400 4 node.actually it was work corectly for first time but I had to change the physical location for this storage so I de-installed and again installed it to the new rack.after this change I got this error.I checked all cable and all of them are in the right position now.
yes I have SP but now I'm working with VSP beacuse it's easer than SP.
what can I do now? my colleague made some screen shot of that error.can u give me your email address? he wants to send that screen to u.
Best Regards

Ah so you deinstalled, as in uninitialised the system, have you done this twice, as I'm pretty sure you need to do this twice.
The license comes on the array from the factory, well it does in Europe. And I'm pretty sure that when I uninitialised an array last time and installed it again it kept the license.
I personally don't use smart start, I just go directly to I the wizard via the URL to install the system from the sp.
If you could let us know exactly what steps you've done please?

Hi Davidkn
Thanks for your reply.
ok I want to explain every thing.
for first time we turned on the storage and get a console from the 4 node. all of them were right and we can see the xxxxx-0,xxxxx-1,xxxxx-2,xxxxx-3 (xxxxx: serial number)
I mean when the inform OS is booted completely and in front of the xxxxx-node number you have to type a user and pass for log in to the OS. but we didn't initial the storage on that time.
after 3 days we turned of the storage and change rack.(physical position).we turned on the storage again and got a console from all node BUT the result was different. we can't see the node number(0,1,2,3) in front of the serial number.in front of node 0 and 1 we saw a 0 and 1 but in front of the node 2 and 3 again we saw a 0 and 1 instead of 2 and 3.I think (I'm not sure) something is wrong in the cluster.I made some screen shut of those error and all of them are so clear. see the attachment file PLEASE. what's the CM error in the attachment file?
Any idea??

When you re-racked these did you remove the nodes from their enclosures?
To my (admittedly untrained) eye, it appears as though the nodes are either not in the same enclosure/slot that they were in prior to the move, or the cluster interconnect cables are not cabled correctly leading to a node pair mismatch.

I'd agree with that, my first thought was cabling, are the chassis' in the right order, I.e. The right one on top, and recheck the cabling.
Looks like it's shutting down the cluster interconnects as it doesn't like something it sees.

Looks to me with the "Remote Node Mismatch" error that either node 3 is in the wrong enclosure, or node 1 is in the wrong enclosure.
Or the whole thing is cabled incorrectly.
